The THERESE | Rose + Green Leaves | Mother's Day

This candle is for the mothers. It features a beautiful quote from St. Thérèse of Lisieux, whose mother was St. Zelie Martin.

Therese’s mother died when she was only four, and she later entered the Carmelite convent at the age of 15. She devoted her life to living out what she called “the little way.” She spent each day doing small things with great love. This relates so well to the life of a mother. Changing diapers, driving kids to school, picking up toys, doing the laundry, all with great love. There’s a reason Therese says “The loveliest masterpiece of God is the heart of a mother.” She had a deep love for mothers, especially her own.

St. Therese's scent profile is a nod to her promise to us to "spend her time in Heaven doing good on earth" by allowing a "shower of roses" to fall. This is an exquisite patchouli rose scent mixed with a hint of green leaves and peppercorn.  May this candle be a reminder of God’s love for the motherly heart.
